TES has experience conducting recreation surveys and planning recreational facilities as a component of mitigation.  Recreational planning is an important aspect of relicensing hydroelectric projects and TES addressed existing recreational opportunities by conducting user surveys.  Staff members have extensive experience with recreational nature trail design.  TES has also assisted the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation with wetland delineation, wetland permitting, mitigation design, and post-construction monitoring.
