The provision of environmental monitors to ensure compliance with permit conditions is often required. Regulatory agencies have insisted upon more aggressive action to lessen environmental impacts during project construction. Permit conditions are designed specifically to reduce impacts on wetlands and streams. The environmental monitor is the primary person responsible for ensuring permit compliance, identifying and correcting problems, and protecting remaining natural resources during construction. TES has provided the services of environmental monitors during the construction phases for many large projects and wetland creation efforts.
